45-60 Days to Ship-Day
When you are 45-60 Days from your reserved Ship-Day, SFC Stokes will contact you about completing a Pre-Screen to check for any changes that might have occured since your enlistment. The below button will direct you to the Pre-Screen page.
Pre-Screen
SFC Stokes will also schedule a meeting with you to complete your shipper paperwork for your shipper packet.
7 Days to Ship-Day
When you are 7 Days from your reserved Ship-Day, SFC Stokes will contact you to discuss your transportation to the airport. At this point, you should begin packing. The packing list is available at the bottom of this page.
3 Days to Ship-Day
When you are 3 Days from your reserved Ship-Day, SFC Stokes will provide you with details about your flight. This will include airport location, your airline, the time you need to be at the airport on your Ship-Day, and your flight's departure time.
Ship-Day
On the day you ship to BCT/AIT, you will meet with SFC Stokes on your way to the airport to sign your final shipper documents and to receive your shipper packet. Your shipper packet will include the following:
- Your flight itinerary.
- Instructions for transportation from your destination airport to your BCT/AIT base.
- A meal card with $35 to use for food until you arrive at your BCT/AIT base.
- A copy of your orders for BCT/AIT.
- Copies of your enlistment paperwork.
Once you arrive at your BCT/AIT base, you will turn in your personal items (including your cell phone) and begin in-processing for Reception.
Reception
For the first week at your BCT/AIT base, you will be in a phase called "Reception". This is a period of in-processing and integration where you will:
- Be issued uniforms.
- Receive a medical exam and immunizations.
- Prepare to be transferred to your BCT/AIT location.
Once Reception is complete, you will be transported to your BCT/AIT location to begin training.
